Using images to build your business online can be extremely beneficial.

After all, without an image to catch your eye would you read most articles online?

It’s not always conveinant bringing your laptop with you just to get access to a program to edit some photos.

You can put together campaigns, advertisements, and so do much more just by learning how to use Photobucket.

A free web editing tool that allows you access as long as you have internet.

Quite ideal if ya’ ask me.

Once you learn how to edit photos the fun doesn’t stop there.

If your using free social networks like Facebook to build, photos are a great way to engage your audience without intimadting them with a sales pitch.

For example, you find a great photo online.

It moves you, speaks to your soul and you wanna share it with your friends.

After watching my video on how to edit photos now you proceed to edit the image.

After you’ve successfully edited the image, you can now write a positive or inspiring quote and sign it with your URL or blog.

Many of your friends will look at the photo and just enjoy it’s beauty.

Others will click the link because they enjoyed the photo.

This also works great with funny photos!

There’s a great photo of a little boy sticking up his middle finger at a sports game that gets me everytime!

Doesn’t matter what the URL is the person has put, or how many times I see the photo, I always go see where it leads.

You’ll find photos in your gallery and along your marketing that has the same hypnotic effect on your leads.

When you learn how to edit photos your not learning how to make it pretty your literally expanding your marketing skill, therefore making you more valuable.

The spiritual growth one has to do in order to work for themselves….

….is literally the reason why so many people fail in home-based business.

If I didn’t grow spiritually, thered be no way I could have done this.

Let me tell you what happened…

It was a regular afternoon just like any other…but little did I knew I’d be learning a lesson of a lifetime.

At the time Justin and I were living in our home in Florida.

We had a perfect view of the lake being we were the first one’s to choose our plot.

I was listening to music downstairs.

I can’t remember the exact song but imagine something with lots of soul, a high bass beat and very loud

I was writing a new website.

At that time, I wasn’t using WordPress but the standard HTML websites that need a four-hundred dollar program like Adobe Dreamweaver to edit.

Programs like this can be extremely frustrating to learn.

Especially if you had no prior experience or knowledge of HTML, CSS or website creation, like me.

That particular afternoon sticks out like a sore thumb to me because of what happened next.

I got a return call from a lead.

“Why, hello there Jim. Yes, this is D. No, not me. D Sterlin. Yes, so how can I help you?”

Jim replies, “Well I was returning your call, I heard your message.”

“Ah yes, that’s right! So what kind of business are you building online Jim?”

Jim quickly replies, “Oh yea, I quit doing that long ago!”

“Really, what happened?”

He says “Well I was in a business for 6 months and I bought everything they told me to buy but I never made a dime! If I were you I’d run as fast you could before the same happens to you!”

“Well Jim, I am really sorry to hear that. You know, this business has allowed me the freedom to work from home. For me, it’s going quite well. May I ask you what skills you learned or what marketing methods you used?”

“Listen D, I told you, that home based business is just a bunch of crap! I never made a dime in it and I never will!”

He hung up the phone.

In our business you deal with all types of people who all are in different paths of their spiritual growth.

Later on that same day, my laptop starts acting up.

It literally crashes in the middle of creating my new site and won’t boot up.

I am then on the phone with customer service for more than two hours.

We finally are able to save my computer but of course, all my work is gone. I didn’t back it up.

I wanted to throw the computer across the room till it broke into a million pieces and then do it again! I was so frustrated!!

I get another phone call. It’s a friend wanting to know if we’d like to go out and grab a bite to eat and go dancing.

Ah man! I really wanted to go!

Because of my computer woes I wasn’t able to get my new website up nor was I able to send out my broadcast.

I declined.

I turned off the music, then dragged myself upstairs, got snuggled comfortable in the sheets and I began to write.

You won’t even believe what happened the next morning!

I’m not even kidding!

The first thing I do, is check my email.

What do I see?

Not one, not 2, but like 6 orders at a thousand dollars a pop!!!!! :-O

I was a Hooter’s waitress!!!

Seeing this literally took my breath away! I never knew I even had the capability of being successful at this.

But unlike Jim, all I had to do WAS STAY IN LONGER THAN HIM!

Think about this the next time you make excuses why you can’t learn a new skill and work online.

Think about that the next you tell someone something is not possible.

The truth is, if you haven’t done it yet, it’s because you don’t know how.

The truth is you can ask anyone what does video advertising cost on internet and you’d probably get a different answer each time.

depending on your campaign it can run you hundreds of dollars a month, even thousands if someone else is doing it for you.

Or you can manage your own video marketing, like I do, and it can cost you as little as a hundred bucks a year.

First of all and I don’t say this lightly, video marketing is not for everyone.

Like blogging it is a means of marketing that is best done when done consistently. I’m not saying you have to shoot a video every day, every week or every month.

Whatever time frame works with your schedule is fine, just be consistent.

Video marketing is strongly associated with attraction marketing. Attraction marketing is the art of connecting with qualified leads that are interested in you.

Don’t waste valuable time trying to make a video that will be liked by everyone. It isn’t possible. There will always be someone who doesn’t agree or isn’t in the right state of mind to receive the information your sharing. That’s okay!

As long as you are genuine and positive in your videos, there is no such thing as a bad video.

Earlier I mentioned when asked what does video advertising cost on internet, it can run you as little as a hundred bucks a year. This is only the case if you decide to get your own video hosting.

If you don’t plan on utilizing video to generate traffic then there is no need for your own video hosting account.

But there are several reasons you may want to get your own video hosting.

Video communities like YouTube are great for multiple reasons. They rank high in search engines, can be easily edited for SEO purposes, they have a large active user database and many more reasons I don’t have time to list.

Yet there are a few downfalls of using free communities like this, especially for network marketers or those building businesses online.

For example, many of these communities, including YouTube are managed by programs.

So if an individual (we refer to them as haters) reports your video or account enough times, even if it isn’t validated, your account will be suspended or shut down.

Now if you used the embed codes from YouTube on your blogs, websites, opportunity pages, and your account gets shut down then all your videos go down with it.

This is where having your own hosting account is quite helpful. If your hosting your own videos, you can easily use the embed codes from your hosting account and if your YouTube gets shut down, it doesn’t affect your websites and the traffic generated to it.

It can be 100% free with free sharing communities like YouTube or even MySpace.

Or you can get your own hosting account for as little as a hundred bucks a year.

To have the reassurance of knowing your videos will always be there, unless you take them down.

What are effective ways to build your reputation online? The key is all in the marketing techniques you use to generate traffic. Some techniques can build trust and create credibility while others destroy your foundation and force you start over again.

Take video marketing for instance. It’s a great way to build credibility and establish a bond of trust with your prospects. It is also the leading way to dominate the search engines if done correctly.

Video marketing can also be used with social networks as a friendly greeting or a way to create interest about you and your products and services.

The secret with using video is being yourself and showing your prospects what matters to you in life. Once you use video to sell them to your opportunity, you’ve ruined the experience. It’s like walking up to a complete stranger and saying, “Hey, wanna make some money? Join my business now because it’s the best thing since sliced bread.”

What makes sliced bread so great anyway? Some people like loaves and others like muffins.

The point is every technique has two sides.

Most business owners at one point in their career come across techniques known as black hat marketing.

These techniques usually require a budget and rely on large quantities of leads. If your new to building online this sort of technique may seem attractive. One can buy leads, their telephone numbers, their email address, and even get their physical address. ->As the lead, your getting ads for the abc opportunity and your asking yourself how in the world did “Billy Bob Jo” get your information.

This type of marketing is usually used by some internet marketers online. They get access to a list and then sell the list to other marketers.

What they fail to mention are the damaging effects this type of marketing could have on one’s reputation.

So if you’ve joined a new business and they offer you to buy a list of leads. Do some research and ask many questions.

Realize most opportunities who offer leads for sale are not marketing solely your opportunity to these leads but many others.

If your sending out thousands of emails, your email will automatically end up in their spam folder. I personally don’t even take the time to read my spam folder. Once its in there I purge and delete forever and most people do the same.

Mind you, there are ways you can optimize your emails and not end up in the spam folder, but that’s for another day.

Back to the point! The part that is the most damaging to your reputation is the fact that the leader who asked you to buy leads to build your business most likely is not doing the same form of marketing. Why would they, knowing the harmful effects that could take place?

Instead they sell you the lists, your name gets flagged online as a spammer, and in the end you’re the one who has to clean up the mess afterwards.

Save yourself the money and the headaches. Instead of taking what seems to be the easy way to build your business learn how to fish.

Learn marketing techniques you can use to generate your own leads. These leads will be much more qualified than any master list you can buy online and most importantly the leads you generate will be attracted to you.

The greatest part about building a business online are the relationships you build while you do so. You’ll meet some of the most enlightened and experienced marketers but take my word for it, you won’t want to piss them off by becoming a spammer.
